Purpose and Mission: Moral Character and Civic Virtue in the Making
- For students: Through our classical education, we establish and equip the next generation to lead with clarity and virtue. Our methods and content teach them to think clearly, cultivate wisdom and understanding, and eventually become mature adults who value truth, acknowledge God’s beauty, and do good (Daniel 1:4, Ephesians 2:10).
- For teachers: we seek to walk alongside our teachers and encourage them to mature in Christ as they make every effort to add to their faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge, and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love, so that they can remain effective and productive as they affirm their calling in Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1: 3-11).
- For parents: we seek to cultivate in our parents a sense of partnership and responsibility in the education of their children. Jointly, we strive to partner in becoming a community that is well-informed about the goals of our classical and Christ-centered approach. We work together to pursue biblical principles for educating and developing children (Proverbs 22:6).
- For our community: we seek to restore hope in our community as we contribute to the economic development of our region. We claim for our community the promise of God that “my towns will again overflow with prosperity, and the Lord will again comfort us and choose us” (Zechariah 1:17).
