Grammar consists of language skills such as reading and the mechanics of writing. An important goal of grammar is to acquire as many words and manage as many concepts as possible so as to be able to express and understand clearly concepts of varying degrees of complexity. We utilize this very short window of time where children’s natural lean is to hear things over and over again with JOY. God created their brains like sponges, and they can learn an abundance of information they will retain throughout their lives when set to fun songs and chants.

Bible, English Language Arts, Humanities (including history and geography), Math, Science, and Fine Arts form the core of the elementary curriculum and is based on topics specified by the classical Christian curriculum. A strong foundation in Math, Science and Fine Arts ensures each student’s future continued success in their coursework. The Art and Music programs include the production of art and music with Biblical and historical perspectives. With this approach, there is an academic component and expectation as well as a performance expectation. Students reenact historical events dressed in period specific costumes as well as perform in formal events. Grammar school students are also introduced to the language of Latin to help prepare them for their middle and high school Latin courses.
